This means Switzerland's prices are approximately US$5.64 per GB more expensive than the global median. Only Zambia, Cayman Islands, Svalbard, Central African Republic, Turkmenistan, Yemen, Tokelau, South Sudan, Saint Helena, Falkland Islands, and Zimbabwe have more expensive data than Switzerland. Having said that, Swiss networks offer some unlimited packs with relatively high fair usage policy cut-offs. Likewise, some MVNOs offer more generous data packages than the network that hosts them.

Switzerland might have comparatively high costs for data (but then: what is cheap there?), a comparison of Swiss rates with the rates of other countries does not help anybody. If you are in Switzerland and if you need data, then you buy one of the offers - and if not, you don’t buy. Your choice.
